The Black Soccer Academic researches and writes articles based on footballers from Black ancestry.

His articles focus on player achievements on and off the pitch. Many of the articles are aligned to the current UK Black History Month theme.

From October 2024 to September 2025 the theme was 'Reclaiming the Narrative'.
