The Black Soccer Academic celebrates the accolades and excellence of Black and Brown footballers.

Founded by former Manchester United professional Richard Flash, our research group highlights landmark moments in world football created by female and male players.

Richard created The Black Soccer Academic to ensure football's Black and Brown 'Pioneers' and modern 'Trailblazers' are celebrated on a daily basis. Our player research is showcased through our social media platforms and research projects.

The Black Soccer Academic Research Group is the research partner for the UK's no.1 Anti-Racism Educational Charity, Show Racism the Red Card.
